The reading behind Renova
Here's where the findings on these pages come from. The links open the papers or official guidance. Beside each one is a note about what it adds, and where its answer stops.
Keep the setting with the finding
A cell experiment, an animal study and a trial with people can all be useful. They answer different questions. The notes below help keep those differences visible as you follow a claim back to its source.
A review gathers and discusses research; it doesn't test a new blend. An FDA page explains the agency's findings or rules. Neither turns an ingredient result into evidence that GLOW works. For that distinction in practice, start with our comparison.
Collagen production in cells grown in dishes
Maquart and colleagues · 1988 cell study
GHK-Cu increased collagen production in human cells grown in dishes. This finding doesn't establish repair benefits in people.
Getting topical GHK through the skin
Mortazavi and colleagues · 2025 review
Reviews the difficulty of getting GHK through the outer skin layer. It also describes a shortage of clinical studies.
Copper-peptide skincare after laser treatment
Miller and colleagues · 2006 clinical study
Measured wrinkles and overall skin quality didn't differ significantly between regimens with and without GHK-Cu. People using GHK-Cu reported greater satisfaction.
BPC-157 and cut Achilles tendons in rats
Staresinic and colleagues · 2003 animal and cell study
Cut rat Achilles tendons healed better with BPC-157. Researchers measured strength and function as well as tissue changes.
How BPC-157 broke down in rats and dogs
2022 animal pharmacokinetic study
Tracked BPC-157 after administration into a vein or muscle in animals. It doesn't supply a human dosing schedule.
Full-length thymosin beta-4 in healthy volunteers
Ruff and colleagues · 2010 clinical study
This safety study tested full-length thymosin beta-4 in healthy volunteers. It didn't test TB-500, GLOW or injury repair.
The FDA review of TB-500
FDA · July 2026 meeting materials
Explains why TB-500 differs from thymosin beta-4. FDA found no published studies in which people received TB-500.
FDA safety warnings and withdrawn nominations
FDA · page current April 22, 2026
BPC-157, TB-500 and injectable GHK-Cu appear under withdrawn nominations. Safety warnings remain; withdrawal isn't FDA clearance.
What FDA approval means for compounded medicines
FDA · questions and answers
Compounded medicines aren't FDA-approved. FDA doesn't check their safety, effectiveness or quality before marketing, even with a prescription.
The FDA review of BPC-157
FDA · July 2026 meeting materials
Reviews limited human evidence and concerns about immune reactions and impurities. It leaves human safety and effectiveness unresolved.
What peptide repair studies leave open
Mendias and Awan · 2026 review
Discusses encouraging animal findings alongside scarce rigorous human safety data. It doesn't test the GLOW blend itself.
Why your location matters in telehealth
U.S. Department of Health and Human Services · telehealth guidance
Explains why the patient's location matters in remote care. General guidance doesn't decide whether a particular service can treat someone.
